Anker Prime 160W, UGREEN Nexode Pro 160W and Baseus PicoGo 140W compared on published port allocation: what each port really gets with two or three devices.
The number on the box is a budget, not a promise
Anker, UGREEN and Baseus all sell multi-port GaN chargers rated 140W and up, all claim “intelligent power distribution,” and all use the same product photography language. The specs that actually separate them are buried one click deeper: the allocation table that says what each port gets when you plug in a second and third device.
That ratio — top-port wattage against total budget — is the whole ballgame. A charger with a 140W port and a 140W total budget has nothing left for your phone. A charger with a 140W port and a 160W budget has 20W left. Here is what the three brands publish for their current flagship wall units, plus Anker’s desktop model for reference.

Three things fall out of that table immediately.
UGREEN’s headline 140W is the most conditional. The Nexode Pro 160W hits 140W only on C1 with nothing else attached. Add a second laptop and UGREEN’s own published pairing is 100W + 60W. Fill all four ports and the two big USB-C ports are capped at 65W each — enough for a MacBook Air, not enough to charge a 16-inch MacBook Pro at full rate. If your normal desk state is four things plugged in, you own a 65W charger.
Baseus is the most honest about the ceiling and the least generous about USB-A. The PicoGo AH11 holds 140W across C1+C2 and across C1/C2+C3, but the moment a USB-A device joins, total output drops from 140W to 134W. That 6W penalty is small, but it means the USB-A port is not free — it is carved out of the same budget.
Anker’s 160W wall unit has the most headroom, with a caveat. All three of its USB-C ports are identically specced at up to 140W, so there is no “good port” to hunt for in the dark. Anker’s marketing says the primary port does not derate when a second device is added. ChargerLab’s bench run with two laptops attached showed a roughly even 77.6W / 76.1W split totaling 153.8W, and a three-device run landed at 60.2W / 50.1W / 35.4W. Both statements can be true — allocation depends on what the connected devices request — but if two power-hungry laptops are drawing at once, expect a split rather than a protected 140W lane.

PPS: the spec where the premium brand is behind on paper
PPS is where cheap chargers cut corners, so it is worth checking. Here the ranking inverts.
- Anker Prime 160W and Prime 250W: PPS 5–11V/5A on the USB-C ports, plus AVS at 15–28V up to 140W on the top port.
- Baseus PicoGo AH11: C1 and C2 publish both 5–11V/5A and 5–21V/5A PPS; C3 publishes 5–11V/5A and 5–20V/5A.
- UGREEN Nexode Pro 160W: listed at 5–21V/5A PPS.
Anker, the most expensive of the three, has the narrowest published PPS window. Now the part that keeps this from being a buying reason: Samsung’s Super Fast Charging 2.0 asks for a PPS supply covering approximately 3.3–11V at 4.05A. Every charger here exceeds that on current. No mainstream US phone — Galaxy or Pixel — needs PPS above 11V. The 21V PPS range on Baseus and UGREEN is genuine headroom for a small set of laptops and handhelds that negotiate high-voltage PPS, and irrelevant to almost everyone else.
One thing worth separating: the spec that actually pushes a 16-inch MacBook Pro to 140W is not PPS at all, it is PD 3.1 EPR — the 28V/5A fixed PDO and the AVS range Anker publishes. Brands blur PPS and PD 3.1 in their bullet points constantly. They are different mechanisms.
Size per watt: Anker wins, and it is not close
Using published bounding-box dimensions, converted to watts per cubic inch and watts per gram:

Caveats, because the makers do not publish consistently: these are bounding-box volumes including folded prongs, UGREEN publishes rounded inches while Anker and Baseus publish millimetres, and Anker’s own spec sheet for the 250W (106.2 × 40.2 × 92.5 mm, 640 g) differs slightly from ChargerLab’s measured 92.3 × 106.2 × 41.7 mm at 642 g. Treat these as roughly ±10%, not precision figures. The gap between Anker’s 160W and the other two wall units is far wider than that margin. If you travel, the Anker is the one that changes your bag.
The 250W desktop unit is a different class — it carries a power factor correction stage and a 2.26-inch display — so its poor density is expected, not a flaw.

Port mix, cables and warranty
Port mix. Anker’s Prime 160W drops USB-A entirely. That is the right call in 2026 for most people and the wrong call if you still charge a Kindle, an older headset, or a car dashcam — you will be buying C-to-A adapters. UGREEN and Baseus both keep one USB-A. UGREEN’s is a 22.5W port; Baseus rates its USB-A up to 20V/1.5A and lists UFCS support alongside QC3.0, SCP and AFC.
Cables. To reach 140W you need a 240W-rated (5A, 50V) e-marked cable, and that is a real cost. Baseus bundles a 240W cable with the PicoGo and with the GaN5 Pro 160W. Some UGREEN Nexode Pro 160W retail SKUs list a 3ft 240W cable in the box and some do not — check the exact listing. Anker’s spec page for the Prime 250W does not list an included cable. Factor $15–25 into the Anker price if you do not own an EPR cable.
Warranty. Anker lists 24 months on Prime chargers. UGREEN advertises a 2-year warranty through official channels, with a warranty document that voids coverage outside the country of purchase. Baseus is the murkiest: its official store lists a 12-month limited warranty while its general warranty page cites an 18-24 month range depending on channel. If a long, unambiguous warranty matters to you, Anker and UGREEN are the clearer picks.
Where these brands are simply the same
Below the 140W tier, in the 100W three-port wall class, there is no defensible technical reason to prefer one of these brands over another. Port counts match, protocol lists match, sizes are within a few grams, and all three sit in the same price band. Buy whichever is cheapest the day you look. The same holds if you only ever charge a phone, earbuds and a tablet at once — none of these chargers will hit its allocation ceiling in that scenario. Allocation tables only stop being trivia when one charger has to feed two laptops, or a laptop plus a fast-charging phone plus something else.

GaN generation claims, checked
“GaNPrime,” “GaNInfinity,” “GaN5” and “GaN6” are internal brand version numbers with no shared definition — there is no industry generation counter, so GaN5 is not a generation behind anyone’s GaN6. Teardowns show all three brands buying from the same small supplier pool: the Anker Prime 250W uses Innoscience INN650D080B and INN700D140C devices with NXP controllers in a PFC+LLC architecture; the Baseus PicoGo AH11 uses an Innoscience INN700DA190B, a 700V part upgraded from earlier 650V designs; the Anker Prime 160W uses an Infineon IGI65D1414A3MS 650V half-bridge. Transistor voltage class, on-resistance and converter topology are real differences, but they do not map onto the marketing names. Ignore the generation number and read the allocation table.
Summary
Buy the Anker Prime 160W if you travel or want the most headroom per port — densest unit here by a wide margin, three identically specced USB-C ports, longest clean warranty. No USB-A, and it may split rather than protect 140W under two heavy laptop loads.
Buy the Baseus PicoGo AH11 140W if price decides — it bundles the 240W cable you would otherwise buy, holds 140W across both main USB-C ports, and publishes the widest PPS range. Accept the 6W USB-A penalty and the channel-dependent warranty.
Buy the UGREEN Nexode Pro 160W for the display and four-port flexibility, knowing its 140W is a single-port-only figure and a full four-port load caps the big ports at 65W each.
Buy the Anker Prime 250W only if you truly need six ports and two laptop-class loads on a desk. Different category, not a bigger version of the same thing.
